WHY FOR THE LAMB?

In the 1700s, two young Jesus followers heard of an island in the West Indies where an atheist British owner had 3000 slaves. The owner refused the gospel to its inhabitants. These two men saw the urgent need for these people to hear the gospel and so they sold themselves as life long slaves in order to share Jesus in a new way.  Philippians 1:21 says, “For to me, to live is Christ, and to die is gain.”  Although we are not physically selling ourselves into slavery, we identify with the whole hearted commitment and abandon of these two young men who found crazy and radical ways to represent Jesus to “the least of these." For the Lamb was founded on the idea that, as followers of Jesus, we are to be a representation of Him in everything we do. Our aim is to encourage Liberian Christians to be a representation of the Lamb not just in the church, but as they carry out their business as well. We have set out to do what the world says is crazy, but what Jesus says is normal. We invite you to join us in this crazy adventure to empower a nation in the name of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.
